South Carolina: Wrap Up

I realize I just bombarded you all with hundreds of pictures from our trip and by now you are probably over it. You may not even open this post because you can't possibly think of what else I could say about the trip. The final post about this trip is just about our family. There is some special bonding that happens when you are forced to live with other people for a whole week and I love that we get opportunities to do it. Here are a few highlighted moments that I'm thankful we had.

First snow cone experience with the girls

All four cousins together, doesn't happen as often as we would like.

Sweet moments between Hudson and Lynley

Rowan really bonded with Papa this trip. He made her laugh and by the end of the week she was choosing him over others to go to in place of momma and daddy.

Our one nice family picture of the trip, out celebrating Nina's life at one of her and papa's favorite restaurants.

Rowan loves her Aunt Leslie. They are Friday buddies when I'm at work/sleeping from work. I think they have a pretty neat relationship to watch and it makes my heart happy she gets to spend so much time with her.

More silliness with Papa

Family ice cream outing for Papa's birthday!

Getting some one-on-one time with Elizabeth as we went for a special wagon ride for just the two of them.

My two loves napping together

Out at the disc golf course attempting to get in a round before the mosquitoes ate us alive.

We are pretty blessed to have such a great family and the means to take a trip to celebrate time together. First big family vacation for Rowan - success!
